Tinbeerwah

Tinbeerwah

Tinbeerwah is set evenly between the hinterland and the coast, some would say perfectly situated.

Tinbeerwah is located next to Mount Tinbeerwah. It is nestled in hinterland State Forest and offers incredible views of the coastline. Tinbeerwah offers many hiking and trail rides, mountain bike trails and wildlife watching.
Tinbeerwah is a mere 15-minute drive to the world-renowned Noosa beaches and famous Hastings St for shopping and fabulous restaurants.

The name Tinbeerwah is thought to be derived from an aboriginal name meaning place of grass tree or high hill climbing up. Mount Tinbeerwah also has a nearby driving track that takes you to almost the top and has an easy stroll out to the lookout.

Tinbeerwah is an ever-growing rural residential area, very popular with ‘tree changers’ and has the added appeal of being so close to Noosa and its surroundings. It also backs onto beautiful Lake Macdonald with its botanical gardens. The botanical gardens are only a short drive and cover over 20 acres of land. It boasts an amphitheatre in the garden which is regularly used for concerts, weddings and other events. It also allows for fishing, bird watching and canoeing.
