Noosa Open Studios Art Trail 14 - 23 August 2026
This year, at the 11th Noosa Art Trail event, the diverse creative talents of Noosa artists will once again be showcased from 14 to 23 August. As always, the Noosa Open Studios Art Trail is a highlight of the Noosa arts calendar.
Eighty-two artists in 72 studios are excited to open their doors again this year to an extended audience, welcoming back local, intrastate, interstate, and overseas travelers. We believe our artists offer visitors exceptional experiences and will tempt most to take something special home with them.
The Noosa Open Studios Art Trail features local art as visitors explore artists' private studios over nine days, driving through the scenic Noosa Shire and discovering hidden gems in this beautiful corner of the world.
This annual, signature free event highlights a wealth of local artists and artisans, promoting Noosa’s reputation as an arts destination.
Historic Wallace House at Noosaville remains the ‘Hub’ of Noosa Open Studios, a role it has played since the event’s inception in 2016, showcasing artworks from each participating artist. Volunteers are available to help visitors plan their art trail adventure, and on weekends, a pop-up café will energize art lovers for their journey.
This year, we introduce an exciting new initiative in partnership with Bendigo Bank—the ‘People’s Choice Art Award’. Wallace House is the perfect starting point for visitors to begin voting as they browse the extensive collection of artworks.
With four different art trails to explore, you can choose to visit the trails around Noosa town, the coastal beaches, the Hinterland, or the inland rural townships of Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, and Kin Kin, discovering a variety of art forms along the way.
Our art trail launch and fundraising event, sponsored by Hinternoosa, was a great success with many works of art auctioned off.
Noosa Open Studios is organized by a volunteer, not-for-profit committee focused on promoting the creative talent in the Noosa region. Since the first trial in 2016, which featured 39 artists over three days, the event has grown significantly, reaching its largest scale to date in 2022.
The support of sponsors is vital for the success of this event, which celebrates local artists. We partner with Noosa Shire Council, Tourism Noosa, the Noosa Arts & Crafts Association (Wallace House), and appreciate their ongoing support. Our generous sponsors include Hinternoosa, InPublishing (InNoosa and Hello Sunshine magazines), Bendigo Bank, Matso’s Eumundi, CreateArt, and Amara Collective. Their support makes the Noosa Open Studios Art Trail possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our studios this year.
