Join us on Tuesday, June 11th, for an extra special community gathering to celebrate Sconetime’s 6th Anniversary and Hinternoosa and Sconetime’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
Hinternoosa are honoured to have sponsored Sconetime since its beginning. When Martin Duncan, aka Sunshine Coast Foodie, called out on Facebook for a regular gathering to combat social isolation and loneliness, our Director and Principal, Sirah Robb, immediately responded with, “we are in!” Since then, we have covered the hall costs where Sconetime takes place and volunteered at the monthly event.
Over the years, we have seen countless happy faces, shared many laughs, made new friends and served the best scones and coffee imaginable. We are truly honoured to be part of this journey with Martin and the Sconetime family and look forward to many more scone-filled years.
As we will be raising funds on the day at the Biggest Morning Tea, don’t forget to bring your coin purses for donations. Each donation will make a real difference in many ways. It will help fund world-class cancer research, which has already increased cancer survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 69% today. There will be a raffle or two for attendees on the day so stay tuned to our socials for more info.
